The Azure Prepare skill automatically generates azure.yaml, infrastructure templates in Bicep or Terraform, and Dockerfiles for the Azure Developer CLI workflow. It equips developers who adopt azd for deployment, setting up the necessary files and modernizing the application for Azure. This enables the deployment of function apps, timer or service bus triggers, and event‑driven functions with managed identities directly through azd.
