The Interstitials skill identifies and evaluates CSS and JavaScript implementations of modals, overlays, pop-ups, cookie banners, newsletter sign-up dialogs, and promotional overlays. It checks for fixed or absolute positioning with high z-index, backdrop overlays, and scripts that trigger modals on page load or shortly thereafter. The analysis covers SEO implications for Google and accessibility compliance with WCAG focus management, benefiting web developers and SEO specialists.
