Keyless by default — Claude's WebSearch and WebFetch run the same search / research / extract workflow; Parallel Web Systems (Chat API `base`/`core` research models with inline citations, Extract API v1, plus notes on the Search, Task and Responses APIs) is an optional backend when the user asks for Parallel and sets PARALLEL_API_KEY. Use when running general web searches, current-events/market/technical lookups, broad information gathering, comprehensive research reports, or verifying a specific URL's content.
