The skill creates a grounded question‑answering and retrieval‑augmented generation system over a user’s own research paper collection, producing answers that cite the exact paper and passage. It enables researchers and analysts to chat with, search, or synthesize evidence across a PDF folder, locate which paper states a specific claim, or build a vector or hybrid index using SQLite FTS5, Postgres pgvector, Chroma, Qdrant, or FAISS. The solution includes a zero‑dependency local full‑text index that delivers citable hits without external services.
