Malloy is an open‑source semantic modeling and query language that compiles to SQL and runs on major data platforms such as DuckDB, BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Trino, Presto, and Databricks. It allows analysts and data engineers to create reusable models, sources, views, joins, and nested queries, and to execute .malloy files from VS Code, the malloy‑cli, or Node.js.
