Turn a finding into a checkable action
Use a measured gap to choose a specific change, an owner and a way to verify it.
Choose the change supported by the evidence
A missing product explanation suggests a content task. An inaccessible page suggests a retrieval task. An answer that names another business may require closer question and market analysis before it suggests any useful website change.
Prompeteer’s AEO/AEM workspace remains administrator-only. Use this guide to plan work; it starts no paid collection and cannot promise that an edit will change model behavior.
| Finding | Possible action | Verification |
|---|---|---|
| The page omits who the product is for | Add a specific audience and use-case explanation | Review the published page and supporting product facts |
| A key page cannot be retrieved | Fix the observed access problem | Repeat the relevant technical check |
| A model answer misses the brand | Inspect question fit and source evidence | Compare a later compatible sample without assuming causation |
Write an action someone can finish
A task needs more than “improve AEO.” Keep implementation and measured outcome as separate states.
Finding: the public product page does not explain how generated skills are installed. Owner: the product documentation owner. Action: add a tested installation walkthrough for one supported client, including prerequisites and a complete example. Done means the walkthrough is published and its steps checked. A later visibility sample is a separate observation, not automatic proof of impact.
A later score change is not a causal experiment
Model updates, competitor changes and question selection can affect later answers. Compare like-for-like observations and disclose changed scope. Do not credit one website edit for an improvement without evidence that supports the attribution.
Common questions
What is the difference between AEO and AEM here?
AEO identifies website and answer-visibility findings. AEM organizes the content, technical and distribution work that may address them, with owners and verification.
